Taste is our go-to spot for date night! They take phone & online reservations very efficiently, and we like planning ahead. We love the menu, with its multiple slider options, mac&cheese options and vegetarian offerings. I usually have a beef slider, and I switch it up because all the choices are terrific. I particularly like the Gouda burger. My wife also likes it, and she orders it with the Beyond patty instead of beef. I'm impressed that they have chicken, lamb & pork sliders as well. The mac & cheese menu is a world unto itself. You can choose from multiple cheeses, and add multiple toppings. The serving itself is kinda small, maybe 1/2 cup, but it is delicious! Staff here are always friendly and accommodating. They have seating inside, and a lovely patio outside, with 2 fireplaces outside also. Traffic noise can be kinda loud outside, and we usually sit there when we have our dog. We'll definitely be returning regularly!

One of our very favorite restaurants on the Central Coast. The extensive menu allows you to mix and match a great variety of food. The service is fast and friendly. The restaurant has a cool vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating options.

We stopped by TASTE! Craft Eatery in SLO, partially because it was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives (fun to see the Guy Fieri signed poster on the wall). I didn't make a reservation very far in advance, but the hostess was really accommodating for my large party. The restaurant is modern and beautiful with plenty of seating. The parking lot is pretty difficult, so I'd recommend parking on the street instead. We got the Drop the Beet full salad which had spinach, roasted beet, roasted butternut squash, red onion, avocado, balsamic, blue cheese, and pistachio. It was a really light and fresh salad. I appreciated the butternut squash which was unique. We also got two sliders, the Messi burger and the Baja. I loveeeeed the chimichurri on the Messi burger with the garlic aioli. That slider was the star of the night. The Baja burger came with jalapeno and a chipotle aioli, but was not as flavorful as anticipated. The savory brussel sprouts had mushrooms, onions, and blue cheese all in a balsamic glaze which was simply delicious. TASTE! Craft Eatery is great for small bites with a big group of friends/family.

I love that you are able to mix and match essentially whatever you want as a duo, trio or quarter. This place is perfect for people who never know what they wanna eat (like myself). There is something on the menu for everyone. Love the decor and music - it's giving Tulum vibes. We wish we had something like this back home!

This place is perfect in every way--service, food, and location. The food was absolutely delicious! I tried the grilled brie, and it was a generous portion--great for sharing with 2 to 4 people. The grilled brie came with garlic, fig jam, honey, apple, bread, and almonds--an amazing combination of flavors. I also tried the trio plate with the Messi burger, Gouda burger, and the best fries ever--crispy shoestring fries. The service was fast, and the indoor dining area was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend!

I've come here a few times and overall, I enjoy the food and the service. They do a happy hour but don't be fooled: some items are cheaper to just buy separate from that happy hour deal. I can't drink yet so I always love trying their seasonal mocktails and see all the fun cups. The only complaint was that the waitress would ask us about everything while walking away so I didn't have time to finish my bite and ask her for anything needed. Kinda my fault for taking the biggest bite imaginable while she was walking by lol.
